The WFU Minority Association of Pre-Health Students, MAPS, has a purpose to provide underrepresented pre-medical students with knowledge, skills, and experiences that are associated with and necessary for professional participation in the medical field. The MAPS chapter will also strive to enhance underrepresented minority recruitment into the medical field, enrich the academic and professional development of these students, and produce competitive candidates for professional medical related programs who are knowledgeable of the admissions processes.
The Pre-Dental Student Association at Wake Forest provides a space for pre-dental students to discuss their journey to a future dental career. Through mentorship, philanthropy events, and guest speakers, our organization strives to give pre-dental students the confidence to build a strong undergraduate portfolio in preparation for dental school.
The Association of Pre-Physician Assistants (APPA) is a newly founded student organization for all things pre-PA. The goal of APPA is to assist, inspire, and educate pre-PA students to help them become more competitive PA school applicants.
