AMCAS, AACOMAS, AADSAS
Once you open the application, you should request the committee letter. You can make separate requests for your individual letters and handle those directly with your letter writers.
The contact person for the committee letter request is Dr. John Tomlinson. Please list tomlinjt@wfu.edu as the committee letter author e-mail address so that the request will automatically be added to his portal. The AMCAS letter request form PDF should be e-mailed to prehealth@wfu.edu. Please use the prehealth@wfu.edu email address for the AACOMAS request for a committee letter and include your AACOMAS ID number in your request. Please indicate the “due date” as June 30th for AACOMAS requests. You do not need to wait to submit your applications until the committee letter has been submitted.
Your committee letter cannot be sent to AMCAS, AACOMAS, or AADSAS unless we have received the committee letter request.
If you plan to apply to AADSAS, please send your AADSAS request to prehealth@wfu.edu and include your AADSAS ID number in the request.
TMDSAS
For TMDSAS, you will select “HP Committee Packet” when submitting your TMDSAS letter request so that we can include your individual letters with your committee letter as a packet.
Please note that when a committee letter is submitted for you in TMDSAS, you can only submit one additional individual letter so this is why we will include your individual letters with your committee letter altogether as a packet for TMDSAS.
You will need to ask your individual letter writers to send a copy of their letters to prehealth@wfu.edu so they can be included with your TMDSAS committee letter packet. Please ask them to send us their letters by mid-June.
If you plan to apply to TMDSAS, please email prehealth@wfu.edu and provide your TMDSAS ID Number.
