The HPC application is only required for students planning to apply to medical/dental school during spring 2026 (for matriculation in 2027) who are requesting a committee letter.
If you are not applying to medical/dental school this cycle, you do not need to complete an HPC application this cycle. The HPC process will be available for you indefinitely after graduation.
If you are a reapplicant who is planning to apply this cycle, but who is NOT requesting an updated ranking by the HPC, you do NOT need to complete an HPC application. Please contact Dr. Tomlinson with your updates.
If you are a reapplicant planning to apply this cycle who wishes to be re-ranked and receive an updated committee letter, you DO need to complete an HPC application.
If you are applying to the Early Assurance Program in 2026, these instructions apply to you as well.
Please note that there is a 700 character limit for the experience description for each activity. There is a 5300 character limit for the personal statement.
An official transcript is not required for the HPC application.
